Puyallup (pronounced Pew Al Up) is a city in Pierce County, Washington, about five miles east of Tacoma and 35 miles south of Seattle. There are two main areas of Puyallup; the Valley (sea level) and South Hill (approx. 500 ft above sea level.) In the Valley you will find independently owned businesses with a small-town feel - head up to South Hill and you will find the South Hill Mall and every other type of business you can think of. Puyallup is also home to The Washington State Fair which is the largest single attraction held annually in the state of Washington attracting more than one million visitors each September.
