Auburn Real Estate
The city of Auburn was was founded in 1891 and originally called Slaughter, named after Lt. William Slaughter who died in a skirmish in 1855 (there was even a hotel called "Slaughter House".) The name changed to "Auburn" in 1893 when a large group of settlers from New York settled there.
Some of the major employers are: Boeing, The Outlet Collection Seattle, Muckleshoot Tribal Enterprises, Green River Community College, Emerald Downs.
